Commercial Finance Manager

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000

Location: London West End

Do you want to build a career in a commercial, profit focused organisation where the support functions are seen as true business partners? Due to a recent acquisition a new position exists for a Senior Finance Manager for one of the UK’s largest and most successful businesses.

The purpose of the role will be to report, manage and ensure integrity of the finances within the division. The role will involve close working relationships with the Managing Director, Finance Director, Profit Centre Managers and Group Finance functions. You will help develop, mentor and manage 2 direct reports including carrying out performance reviews and appraisals. Another key area will be to ensure the integrity of the monthly board pack and challenge Operations Directors on their forecasts. You will need to support new business bids, ensuring sound investment of assets and ensure the board review forms represent the true value of the opportunity as well as risks.

This is a highly visible role that will require strong communication skills, a professional qualification (ACA / ACCA / CIMA although people without a professional qualification will be considered) and previous management skills. You will also have previous commercial finance experience having presented financial packs to the board for a large company in the past.

Management Accountant

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000

Location: Bracknell, Berkshire

Can you produce a full set of Management Accounts? An opportunity exists for a part qualified accountant (although non studiers will be considered) to take ownership of the management accounts.

This is an interesting position as you will have full autonomy of looking after the management accounts.  This will include budgeting and forecasting which in turn will help the managers to make commercial decisions enabling you to really influence the direction of their respective business units.

Ideally you will be qualified with 2-3 years strong management accounting experience and good communication.

Credit Controller

Salary: £18,000 - £20,000

Location: London City

My client is looking to recruit for a diligent, articulate and organised Credit Controller, who can demonstrate a prior working knowledge of credit processes. You will need to show a clear understanding of debt collection, written and verbal skills, and query resolution.

The main duties will include:
- Chasing for payments of invoices which have fallen due, or are becoming due for payment
- Ensuring that all queries raised by clients are passed on to relevant departments in a timely manner
- Dealing with internal and external payment queries from clients
- Managing and monitoring the levels of debt for accounts that fall under responsibility
- Producing and sending statements to clients on a monthly basis
- Posting and allocating payments
