Edward Mann is recruiting on behalf of an up and coming FX/CFD Brokerage based in Sydney, they are looking for Affiliate Managers to come onboard and help grow relationships with channel, education, IB and money managers partners and continue to manage existing relationships.
This role will be reporting to the Head of Partnerships within the region, but you would very much have the ability to manage your own partnerships network how you see fit. The company’s approach is to do right by the partners and customers and not just what's right for the company.
The company is looking for experienced people from within the industry to bring their expertise to the role, but they are also willing to train, mentor and support the right candidates through the line manager and external experts. Entering the company at this point in their lifecycle would afford candidates the ability to expand the scope of their role and see outstanding progression within the company.
They are looking to pay up to 100k base (but flexible for exceptional candidates) + Super + a very competitive commission scheme (Unlimited) with the expected OTE to be around 150k-180k based on performance
Follow up with all new partners and new lead inquiries
Proactively contact potential partners across the region who have expressed an interest in working with the brokerage as well as respond to incoming enquiries
Hold online and web-based meetings with potential partners to guide them through the method of working with the brokerage
Refine our ideal partner profiles, and engage in market research to find additional partner types
Manage your own partnerships, ensuring you are driving substantial revenue from these relationships
Onboard, train and manage new channel partner team members
Proactively follow up leads generated from events or marketing initiatives the company works on
Manage all your potential new business and record details of each customer interaction for new business reporting
Managing customer accounts by ensuring that existing customers remain satisfied with company products and services.
Own affiliate acquisition campaigns, including the creation of creative assets for partners
Measure and analyse partner performance, and identify new opportunities
Develop strategic marketing plans for affiliate acquisition
Use our affiliate marketing software to create daily, weekly, and monthly reporting
Assess and develop new digital advertising opportunities and implement and continually test new creative messaging, landing pages, campaigns, and tools
Design effective partner co-marketing campaigns and materials with the help of Marketing
Work with the Head of Region to identify other potential new business opportunities
Attend regular sales meetings to discuss new business plans and achievements
Provide advice and suggestions on how our own processes and systems can be improved to ensure we are hitting the business targets set
Contribute to the overall team performance by sharing and implementing Best Practice ideas
Working with colleagues in your team to support and assist them to improve results.
Work with product, technical and sales teams within Trade Nation to ensure effective intercompany working
The Successful Candidate will have:
3+ years of experience in a business development or channel sales role at a trading broker or financial trading company
Previously helped to implement and grow a trading broker partnerships program
Track record of exceeding revenue goals for multiple quarters
Very comfortable speaking to current and potential customers on the phone.
An ability to prioritise their task list and workload. You will know which areas to focus on to achieve results.
A strong core set of IT skills. You need to be very comfortable in using a range of different software systems.
An incredible can-do attitude. If you’re not ‘chomping at the bit’ to work with us, then we are not the right place for you
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
A good level of grammar is essential for the role
