Edward Mann are currently recruiting for a growing financial services fund that want to add a BI Engineer to their data team. The role will involve designing, developing and enhancing Datawarehouse and Securitisation databases to optimise the business' reporting processes.
The client is looking for a capable and experienced Data Engineer, who is well versed in the full Microsoft BI Stack (Power BI, SSRS, SSAS, SQL), and able to act as a point of contact for other key stakeholders and department heads in the business.
Responsibilities
Lead Design and maintenance Datawarehouse, Securitisation, and other BI Databases and stores
Test and maintain databases using BI Stack (SSRS, SSAS, Power BI)
Work with team leads to ensure that BI reporting is optimised with the most appropriate data structures and models
Take ownership of new and ongoing projects within Datawarehouse development
Mentor and train team members
Write and review business and technical specifications
Support change releases into production environment
Take ownership of, and resolve production problems
Desirables
Advanced Excel skills
Proven experience with full BI stack (SSRS, SSAS, Power BI)
Expert knowledge of SQL
