Management Accountant

​Edward Mann are recruiting on behalf of a leading Private Healthcare Group based in Central London. Our client is looking for a Management Accountant who has had previous exposure to month-end reporting and journal postings.

Our client will provide on-going training and support, an excellent platform for further internal career development, and study support for a recognised accountancy qualification.

Responsibilities include:

• Support the production of monthly management accounts

• Prepare, review and post month-end close adjustments, inc. accruals, prepayments, and depreciation

• Provide commentary on P&L impact of month-end postings, where required

• Take ownership of the month-end balance sheet reconciliations, assets, liabilities, and fixed assets

• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations for review and sign off

• Submit month-end adjustments and reports to Group Finance Team, responding to ad-hoc queries

• Support the annual budget setting process, consult with relevant departments, cost modelling, system input

• Liaise with, and assist, internal and external auditors

• Continually look to review and improve month-end processes and drive efficiencies

• Develop within the role and take on additional responsibilities where possible

• Ad-hoc tasks and projects, as and when needed

Candidate Spec:

• Previous month-end process experience, including journal postings

• Studying towards a recognised qualification (CIMA, ACCA, AAT, ACA, or equivalent)

• MS Excel experience
