Senior Accountant

​Edward Mann are recruiting on behalf of a leading Accounting Firm based in North Sydney. The role is a permanent position paying up to 100k + Super + Bonus depending on experience, including regular 6-12 monthly salary reviews. Last review cycle, the minimum increase was 10k and average increase was 14k!

You will have great work-life balance, without tedious timesheet procedures and all client business development can be delegated elsewhere to allow you to focus on more important duties. Although, if business development is something that interests you, there is scope to get involved in that as well.

The company has grown exponentially in the last few years, with 30-50% YOY revenue growth the last 2-3 years.

This is an exciting opportunity to establish yourself in a growing business, which is looking to promote and develop its staff as much as possible. In time it is hopeful that this role will in time develop into a Team Leader position within the business.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for individuals and related companies, trusts, partnerships

• Bookkeeping duties

• Assisting with establishing entities including companies, trusts

• Assist with the preparation of BAS/IAS, as required

• Preparing client billings in relation to your own work

• Assisting with administration where required

• Development of internal procedures
  

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous experience working in an Accounting Firm

• Working towards a CA or CPA qualification, although those not studying or those qualified by experience will also be considered.

• Experience in using Xero, Excel, Word, QuickBooks and MYOB

• Strong communication skills

• Strong team player who is eager to learn new tasks, systems, processes and software

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
