Senior Finance Manager

Edward Mann is recruiting for one of Australia’s top revolutionary online trading companies headquartered in Sydney’s CBD. They are looking for a permanent Senior Finance Manager which will pay up to 140K + Super, depending on candidate experience.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills with a hard-working attitude and outstanding leadership qualities that foster an environment of trust, hard work and excellence. The focus of the role will be to guide and mentor direct reports through financial reporting, processes, and other tax matters.

Responsibilities:

•         Primary responsibility for financial reporting and other tax matters

•         Improving the group financial reporting consolidation process

•         Managing the year-end audit processes, including drafting financial statements

•         Preparing balance sheets and financial documents for company monthly reports

•         Liaising with other teams regarding any transactional issues

•         Manage transfer pricing activities

•         Timely and accurate preparation of reports for daily and month-end accounting processes

•         Directing, monitoring, and mentoring the work of other finance team members of the department

•         Adhoc tasks as delegated by the CFO/Directors

Skills and experience:

•         A qualified accountant and have other qualifications in Finance e.g., CA/CPA. (Candidates working towards these qualifications will still be considered)

•         Experience managing small teams

•         Proven experience in multi-currency reporting

•         In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes.

•         Experience in CFD or broking industry is highly desired

•         Experience with changing accounting software

•         Experience with transfer pricing

•         A motivated and energetic approach with the desire to drive continuous improvements.

•         Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
