Senior Management Accountant

​Edward Mann is recruiting on behalf of an Australian owned and operated automotive engineering company. They are seeking a Senior Management Accountant to join the team, reporting to the Financial Controller.

Located in Coopers Plains, Queensland the role is paying up to $130k + Super + Bonus depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:

Duties include, but not limited to:

• Financial modelling

• Creating detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities, and solutions for the business using advanced Excel skills (Macro and VBA)

• Analysis of Monthly Actual results versus Budget and Last Year, YTD Budget and LYTD

• Provide input to the development and re-engineering of all systems, procedures and technology to support the business

• Identifying and evaluating opportunities to increase revenue and minimise cost that can impact profitability

• Budgeting, forecasting and Variance Analysis

• Planning and monitoring

• Pricing

• Reporting

The Ideal Candidate will have experience with:

• Strong communication / Interpersonal skills

• Key stakeholder management skills, both internal and external

• Proven experience in a similar role

• Proven analytical background

• Advanced Excel skills (Macro and VBA)

• NetSuite / Microsoft Navision Experience

• CPA or Equivalent (those not qualified or studying towards will still be considered)
