​Job Title – Accounts Payable Clerk

Location – Stratford, East London (1 or 2 days a week in the office)

Salary - £20-25k

Edward Mann are currently recruiting for an Accounts Payable Clerk working for a leading construction business based in Stratford, East London. Our client is working on a hybrid basis coming into the office 1 or 2 days a week.

This position will be responsible for the accurate inputting of invoices onto the system and ensure all invoices are processed prior to the month end close.

Key Responsibilities

-          Match invoices to PO numbers

-          Ensure correct authorizations have been made before processing invoices

-          Deal with supplier queries

-          Reconciliations

-          Aged creditor reports

-          Produce month end report on your allocated suppliers

-          Prepare accruals

-          Monitor any unpaid invoices

-          Ensure correct coding on invoices through AP system

Desirables

-          Comfortable user of Excel with experience of VLOOKUP & Pivot Tables

-          Prior Accounts Payable experience is desirable
