  • Oversee financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and investment strategies, to support and align with company goals and product development.

  • Lead financial modelling for new product initiatives, including the assessment of financial viability and return on investment for emerging technologies and platforms within the blockchain and DeFi space.

  • Contribute to the development of tokenomics and financial structures for new tokens, ensuring sustainable growth and compliance with regulatory standards.

  • Collaborate with the product development team to incorporate financial insights into whitepaper creation, product launches, and market strategies.

  • Ensure compliance with accounting and financial regulations across multiple jurisdictions, with a keen understanding of the legalities specific to cryptocurrency and digital assets.

  • Direct the finance team in high-performance practices, continuous improvement, and financial integrity, especially in areas unique to blockchain technology and token economics.

  • Manage financial reporting, tax planning, and cash flow management to optimise the company's financial health, including the valuation and accounting of digital assets.

  • Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organisation, e.g., evaluation of potential alliances, investments, and/or mergers and significant product investments.

  • Engage and negotiate with investors, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies regarding financial strategies, product viability, and company performance in the niche market of DeFi and blockchain.

  • Represent the business in financial discussions at board meetings, investor presentations, and regulatory discussions, bringing expertise in finance related to emerging technologies.
