Finance Analyst

​Edward Mann are currently recruiting on behalf of a multinational retail company based in Canberra, ACT. They are looking for a Finance Analyst to join the growing team on a permanent basis.

You will be reporting to the APAC Wholesale Finance Controller where you will work as part of a team, overseeing the financial operations of the APAC business. This includes supporting different departments through the month end process, including oversight and analysis of monthly P&L's and balance sheet workpapers.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting in the monthly financial reporting for the APAC region.

• Assisting in the development of financial systems, processes, and policies in accordance with global requirements.

• Support projects to drive process improvement and automation.

• Oversight of capital and cashflow forecasts.

• Ensure financial controls and processes are followed.

• Supporting the preparation of annual budgets and monthly reforecasts.

• Supporting the leadership on a range of strategic and operational projects and initiatives.

• Other various ad hoc projects as required.

Skills and Experience:

• Experience in working in a multinational organisation (preferred)

• CA/CPA Qualified (those studying towards will also be considered)

• Experience using JD Edwards or similar large scale ERP systems.

• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels.

• Having the ability to balance conflicting priorities and work well under pressure.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
