​Edward Mann are recruiting for an international business based in Newcastle.

Ideally this role would be based in Newcastle, but this role can also be based out of their Brisbane office. The company operates in a flexible working environment, typically a 3-2 split.

This position will play a key role in the successful completion of 3 key application/platform launch projects.

While working with various teams across the business, you will be responsible for the successful implementation of these projects within an appropriate timeframe.

Paying up to $150 + Super p/h with possible flexibility for excellent candidates. This position will be for circa 3-6 months, with a strong chance of further project work for the right candidate.


The role:

  • Provide knowledge and expertise in the selection of vendors for the appropriate projects.

  • Liaise with relevant areas to ensure the tender documentation is completed accurately for the respective projects.

  • Prepare project plans, including scope, schedule, resources and project deliverables.

  • Manage and lead cross-functional teams in order to successfully deliver projects on time and according to the quality requirements.

  • Provide project reporting for all projects, including achievement of key milestones, resource forecasting and risks.

  • Prepare regular status reporting for extended leadership team.

  • Provide training to internal teams where required to ensure successful implementation.


About you:

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Expertise in design, implementation and optimisation of ICT processes, organisations and systems.

  • Demonstrated change management experience covering technical and process change.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills.

  • Proven people management and mentoring experience.

  • Strong stakeholder management ability.

  • Ability to prioritise, influence and track delivery of conflicting tasks and activities.
