Edward Mann are partnered with a leading Global Private Education Group who are looking to hire a Junior Accountant for their Europe Reporting Team. Following a large acquisition, the business are looking for someone to assist with the preparation of monthly financial reporting for all of the existing and new entities within the group. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their skillset in month-end reporting, while also having the chance to get exposure to budgeting and forecasting in the team.

The role will be in the office 5 days p/w in the office due to the continual integration from the merger, but will step back to a hybrid arrangement early/mid next year.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly financial statements

• Communicate with other teams to consolidate data, exchange insights and identify trends and KPI's

• Variance analysis of actuals against budgets and forecasts, and present results

• Assist development of budgets and forecasts

• Maintain organized records and databases, ensure data is clear and accessible for reporting

• Conduct Capital expenditure analysis - tracking against budget and forecast

• Ad hoc reports as requested

Desirables

• Studying towards ACCA/CIMA/ACA

• Previous experience in a financial reporting role
