The Senior Financial Accountant will work closely with the Head of Finance and play a vital role within the finance function.

They are looking to pay up to $130k + Super depending on candidate experience but flexible for exceptional candidates. In addition to flexible working hours, WFH flexibility, and other benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

Liaise with the Head of Finance and other senior financial managers to improve financial procedures.
Support month-end and year-end close process, analysing financial information before lodgment into reporting systems.
Work alongside Finance Manager and Treasury in preparing weekly cashflow statements.
Forecasting medium & long-term FX exposure to implement appropriate hedging
Taxation duties including BAS, PAYG, FBT and other statutory reconciliations

The Successful Candidate will have:

CPA/CA qualified or equivalent, those studying/or qualified by experience will also be considered
Proven experience in a senior accounting position
Must be detail-oriented and results-oriented, have an ability to work autonomously, set and achieve aggressive goals and deadlines.
Well organised and confident in managing competing priorities.
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
