Edward Mann are currently partnered with a Manufacturing business in East London in the recruitment of a Senior Financial Accountant on a permanent basis. This is a hybrid opportunity with 3-4 days per week in the office.

Daily responsibilities:

• Statutory reporting for the UK entities, and cooperating with external audit stakeholders

• Managing the year-end and hard close audit process

• Liaise with internal auditors and review/improve internal processes

• International VAT returns

• Preparation of corporate tax reports

• Assessment of monthly P&L and balance sheet

• Working with senior management in presentation of key data/findings

• Support with yearly pension audit

• Prepare, validate and expense monthly payroll reports, and reconcile payroll control accounts

• Liaise with HR in relation to special payments, bonuses/commissions

• Work closely withe the SSC overseas

Experience required:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)

• Experience managing statutory accounts completion, ideally within a globally focussed organisation

• Strong knowledge of VAT and tax returns

• Experience with pension audits and benefits schemes.

• SAP experience is desirable
