Edward Mann are currently partnered with a SME restaurant group in Central London who are recruiting for an Accountant to join on a permanent basis paying up to 50k per annum. This is a role designed to develop into a Financial Controller as the business grows and they undertake more venues across the UK.
Responsibilities include:
Oversee the preparation of month end accounts for all group entities
Liaise with external accountants on integration of finance into full internal control
VAT returns
Bank reconciliations
Balance sheet reconciliations
Manage Accounts payable and receivable processes
Oversee the preparation of year end statutory accounts
Support the CEO/CFO with financial strategy
Financial analysis and reporting
Consistently look to improve processes and drive efficiencies
Candidate Spec:
Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) or finalist
Experience in growing SME environment considered advantageous
