Edward Mann is recruiting exclusively for this newly created position within a growing Not-for-Profit based in Melbourne's Eastern Suburbs.

You will sit on the Leadership Team and offers a rare opportunity to step into a role where you’ll influence finance, HR, IT, and broader business operations—all while supporting a purpose that truly matters.

The role is paying up to $120k + super + salary packaging, depending on experience.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

  • Lead and mentor a small Corporate Services team (3 direct reports)

  • Own the monthly close process, board reporting, budgeting, and forecasting

  • Liaise with external audit and ensure end-of-year compliance

  • Oversee outsourced payroll, HR, and IT contractors

  • Partner with the CEO to deliver insights for key decisions

  • Drive process improvement across finance, systems, and corporate services

  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements (GST, FBT, Payroll Tax, etc.)

  • Prepare for future growth strategy including streamlining and automation

What we’re looking for:

  • CPA (or equivalent) with a strong financial reporting background – those studying toward or without will still be considered.

  • Minimum 3 years in a leadership role

  • Hands-on experience across finance, HR, and operational support

  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills

  • Comfortable working across multiple sites

  • Bonus if you’ve worked in NFP, education, or similar mission-based organisations

  • Systems experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power BI, SharePoint is highly desirable
