In this role, you’ll be responsible for the full accounting operations of the Australian business while partnering closely with the Head of Finance. You’ll ensure strong compliance, reliable group reporting and the smooth running of AP, AR, cash management and inventory accounting.

You will be based out of their Australian Head Office in Knoxfield, Victoria and this role is paying up to 160k + Super + Bonus.

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead all accounting operations including AP, AR, bank processing, reconciliations, inventory entries, and cash management 
• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close including journals, reconciliations, variance analysis, and group submissions
• Prepare statutory financial statements and coordinate both internal and external audits
• Manage tax compliance including GST, BAS, income tax, FBT, withholding tax and transfer pricing requirements 
• Oversee Global Control Standard (GCS) compliance and ensure high-quality internal controls
• Partner with the Head of Finance on process improvements and automation initiatives 
• Mentor and develop a team of 3–5 across AP/AR/Inventory, building a culture of accountability and continuous improvement 


What we’re looking for:

This role suits someone who enjoys being hands-on, improving processes and delivering high-quality financial reporting in a dynamic, multinational environment.

• CA/CPA or equivalent qualified. Although those not studying or qualified by experience will still be considered.
• Proven experience across Inventory accounting, financial reporting, audit and tax
• Strong understanding of Australian Accounting Standards and US GAAP experience advantageous
• Experience working in a multinational or matrix-style environment
• Excellent communication skills and ability to partner across the business
• Comfortable leading a team and lifting capability across AP/AR/Inventory
• Strong Excel and systems experience
